Prison Education Program
In Partnership with the Indiana Department of Correction
Deborah’s Place partners with the Indiana Department of Correction to provide education and workforce preparation for individuals who are incarcerated and preparing for reentry. This program is designed to build practical skills, confidence, and a strong foundation for life after release.

Continuing Education & Job Development
Deborah’s Place supports individuals as they work toward education and employment goals that lead to long-term stability. This program focuses on skill-building, career readiness, and support services that help participants successfully enter or reenter the workforce.
Program components include:
GED preparation and educational support
Career certifications and job training
Resume writing and interview preparation
Financial literacy and workplace readiness
Job placement support

Medical Training Program
The Medical Training Program at Deborah’s Place prepares individuals for stable, in-demand careers in healthcare. Through hands-on training and certification support, participants gain practical skills that are essential for success in medical settings such as hospitals, clinics, and home healthcare environments.
Participants receive training in Medical Assisting, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Billing and Coding, Pharmacy Technician, Qualified Medication Aide (QMA), EKG Technician, and Phlebotomy. Along with technical instruction, the program includes career guidance and job readiness support to help individuals transition confidently into the healthcare workforce.
